Kristol Thinks Americans Are Smart

Well, at the end of the most incompetent presidency ever, with the economy in deep recession and almost one million jobs lost in just the past year, 28% of Americans still think that their country is on the right track.

At the beginning of the Iraq war, 76% of Americans believed that there was a direct connection between the 9/11 attack and Saddam although there was ABSOLUTELY NO evidence to support such claims.

The republican party strongly believes that the Americans are idiots - just see Sarah Palin's comments regarding Obama during the 2008 presidential campaign. Or all that smear and efforts to push non-issues at the front of the national debate when the country was on life-support - with McCain declaring that the fundamentals are strong!
